Music Lyrics

Filed under: Entertainment — admin @ 10:57 pm

Music Lyrics fall under original pieces of work and are copyrighted. This means music lyrics are copyrighted for 70 years after the death of the author in many countries. Tough stuff. Wouldn’t it be great if all authors published their lyrics on a central server for anyone to browse? I mean, in most cases if I can hear, I can grasp what the lyrics are, so what the heck. Allow the fans full access to music lyrics without the legalities!

I’m continually amazed at trends in baby names. These are usually localized to a specific countries, and statistics on the most popular baby sites make me wonder why so many parents don’t show any craetivity in naming their new baby. And then there are those - mostly from show business - who show HUGE creativity in their naming. Seems to me that they compete for the wierdest names they can think off. Poor kids! In Arabic countries, things are much easier. You’ll get away by just calling your son Mohammed or Ashraf, or your daughter Fatima. Done.
